Colgate Hello

Spring 2022

At homecoming in the fall, Kim Morris ’89 Larsen celebrated the 81st birthday of her father, Robert Morris ’63, with three generations of Morrises and three generations of Colgaters. Right photo, back row: Meg Morris Clabault, Kim, Todd Larsen ’88, Sue Morris, Robert “Chick” Morris ’63, Tiffany Morris, Robbie Clabault, Ted Clabault, Greg Morris; front row: Jimmy Clabault, Katherine Larsen ’21, Olivia Morris, Bobby Morris, and Sarah Larsen ’23.

The Geneva Study Group, led by Professor Bruce Rutherford (back row, right), visited Paris at the end of 2021. That leg of the trip was organized by the Paris alumni association, including co-founders Axel Krause ’56 (far right) and Albert Naim ’14 (second from left). Krause used his connections as a journalist to facilitate meetings at the French Senate, among other stops. Naim introduced the group to an art historian who provided a tour of the Louvre.

The Colgate tradition of saying “hello” to others on campus can be extended to a friendly greeting wherever people from the University community meet. Here, alumni send us their pictorial “hellos” while sporting their pride for alma mater.
