Raider invades New York City

Raider is running wild in New York City to connect with alumni and meet up with some members of the Colgate professional networks.

There was a maroon-clad, giant-headed mascot running through the streets of New York City, April 24.

Colgate’s beloved Raider took over the university twitter feed, @colgateuniv, while seeing the sights and meeting with alumni and other friends of Colgate.

Raider decided to take this road trip a few days prior, as those who watched his preview video already knew, but his destination was unknown until the morning of the 24th, when he showed up in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan. Raider quickly ran to make an appearance outside the filming of the Today Show.

Raider was also on the lookout to take photos and engage with New York City alumni (or any other alumni in the area), and to connect with members of Colgate’s professional networks. He also stopped in at Grand Central Station to hand out some Colgate goodies.
