Five Softball Players Among National Leaders

HAMILTON, N.Y. – The latest NCAA Division I softball statistics have five Colgate players listed among the national leaders in games played through April 18.

Junior outfielder Dorothy Donaldson (Lakeland, FL) is listed in four categories: slugging percentage (19th – .771), batting average (27th – .424), runs batted in per game (28th – 0.9) and home runs per game (29th – 0.26).

 

Junior second baseman Natalie Rawson (Palmdale, CA) is ranked 11th in runs batted in per game (1.02), while her twin sister, Nichole, is 30th in runs scored per game (0.88).

 

Senior pitcher Elena Isaac (Chandler, AZ) is 48th in earned run average (1.10) and sophomore pitcher Kate Howard (Wheaton, IL) is 23rd in saves with three.

 

In the team categories, Colgate is 25th in winning percentage (.738) and 27th in scoring (4.86 runs per game).
