CENTER VALLEY, PA. – Colgate senior Xavier deBoissezon (Geneva, Switzerland/Blair Academy) was selected by the League office as the Patriot League Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
de Boissezon boasted a Top 10 performance at the Sean Earl (Loyola) Lakefront Invitational and helped Colgate to a fifth-place team finish. The senior crossed the finish line in the sixth spot, just a second behind fifth-place finisher Cameron Stuber of Universal Sole/adidas.
de Boissezon, who has been CU’s top finisher in all three meets this season, posted a personal-best time of 24:46. More than 60 teams competed in the Illinois-based meet, including DePaul, Purdue, Nebraska, Toledo, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Dayton and Valparaiso.
