CENTER VALLEY, PA – Colgate senior Xavier de Boissezon (Geneva, Swit.) garnered Patriot League Men’s Runner of the Week honors for the second time this year after posting a first place finish at the Leopard Invitational last weekend.
The senior crossed the finish line in 25:46, edging out Brian Donovanof the College of New Jersey by just over a second. de Boissezon, who has taken home the gold in three of the Raiders four races this season, led the Raiders to a thir d-place team finish. Princeton, Columbia, UMBC, Bucknell, La Salle, Rutgers, Monmouth and Rider also competed in the Leopard Invitational.
Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams are back in action on Nov. 1 as they compete in the Patriot League Championships at Lafayette. The meet will be held on the same course where the Leopard Invitational was hosted this past weekend.
