Cambridge, Mass.- Freshman outside hitter Marybeth Maziarz (Wibraham, Mass.) was named to the New England Challenge all-tournament team for her performances last weekend.
Maziarz laid down a season high eight kills in 19 attempts for .421 hitting percentage against Harvard on Saturday evening. She averaged two kills per game over the weekend while tallying six blocks and hitting for a .357 average in the tournament.
Maziarz is currently tied for first on the team with 14 total blocks, and ranks third in kills with 1.77 per game average.
The Colgate volleyball team will face off against LaSalle (Fri. 5 p.m.), Princeton (Sat, 12:30 p.m.), and Canisius (Sat. 5:30 p.m.) this weekend as they host the Colgate Invitational on Cotterell Court.
