Hamilton, NY — Senior Melissa Rawson (Palmdale, CA./Highland H.S.) has become Colgate’s all-time leader in runs scored, hits and total bases with the softball team.
Rawson, who is playing shortstop this season after three seasons as the Patriot League all-league first baseman, has helped the Raiders to a 10-5 mark this season.
During the recent 10-game road trip to Florida, Rawson moved into first place in career runs scored with 110, hits with 182 and total bases with 295. She is currently Colgate’s leading hitter with a .413 batting average and home run hitter with five.
