Illumination

A reflection off of Payne Creek illuminates the Willow Path. The creek was named after the family whose 18th century farm on the hill is now Colgate’s campus. As a result of the family’s influence, Hamilton, N.Y., was originally known as Payne’s Settlement. (Photo by Andrew Daddio.)
