Torch Medals honor a Colgate faculty or staff member who made a meaningful impact on an alum during their time at Colgate. Tim realized I was a good kid, so he sat me down and talked to me about maturing into an adult and making better decisions. He was very genuine, and I could tell he cared about my success. He was in charge of disciplining us, but he really became a mentor and for that I am very grateful.”
