Konosioni looking to revive Colgate Hello tradition

Back to All Stories

Konosioni, the university’s senior honor society, is working hard this week to bring back the Colgate Hello tradition. Members have distributed nametags through student mailboxes and at tables in the O’Connor Campus Center. You can follow the society’s efforts on its Facebook page and on Twitter by using the #ColgateHello hashtag.

As the senior honor society, Konosioni recognizes outstanding leadership, dedicated service to the community, and the preservation of tradition.

It holds a charity auction each year that raises funds for nonprofit organizations in the community.

Earlier this year, Konosioni allocated $20,000 to four local nonprofits dedicated to improving family health. Representatives from Utica Safe Schools, Mohawk Valley Perinatal Clinic, the Community Action Partnership Mary Rose Clinic, and Community Bikes came to campus to discuss how they planned to use the funds they received.
