The Colgate men’s hockey team electrified Raider Nation last season as it made its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2005, competing against the top Division I teams in the nation.

The Raiders earned the at-large tournament bid after reaching the ECAC Hockey title game in Lake Placid by beating Quinnipiac University in double overtime — a thrilling game that fans will remember for a long time. The Raiders finished the season with a 20-14-5 overall record and look forward to welcoming back a solid core of its team for the upcoming campaign.

The hockey team, along with the university’s other 24 Division I teams, fuels a school spirit that is felt on campus and beyond. And, by competing against the very best, our student-athletes learn what it takes to succeed, in the classroom as well as on the playing field.
