Members of the Colgate community joined millions of other Americans today in remembering the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil.
Students, alumni, faculty, and staff reflected on the 12th anniversary of the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people on September 11, 2001.
We offer this speech by former Colgate President Rebecca Chopp as another way to remember and honor not only the victims with Colgate ties, but the many others who suffered unimaginable losses that day. The speech was delivered on the one-year anniversary of the attacks.
