The May 19 ceremony marked the university’s 192nd commencement. A total of 685 students were eligible to graduate, and of those, more than half (51.8 percent) graduated with university honors.
Commencement speaker Duncan L. Niederauer ’81, chief executive officer of NYSE Euronext, shared his list of “13 for 13” prescriptions for success. Colgate President Jeffrey Herbst encouraged students to interact wisely online without sacrificing human interaction.
