Faculty answer media calls about range of topics

In the last month, Colgate University faculty answered the call to journalists who required qualified experts.

The NPR podcast Planet Money asked the question, “Why Does A Taxi Medallion Cost $1 Million?”. For the answer, they turned to Graham Hodges.

As Egyptians went to the polls on Monday November 28th, the press called upon Bruce Rutherford, author of “Egypt after Mubarak: Liberalism, Islam, and Democracy in the Arab World” for expertise and context.

In the ongoing debates about the national debt, Thomas Michl, a professor of economics at Colgate University was quoted in a fact checking post by the website Politifact.

And Jay Mandle talked about the on-going occupy Wall Street protests fo the Huffington Post.
