Center Valley, Pa. – The Colgate men’s and women’s swimming and diving squads finished off their season with six members being named to the Patriot League first and second all-league teams.

Lane Ellis was named to the second team as a diver and is the only men’s representative from Colgate.  Lane finished the championship meet with 32 points and earns all-league honors for the second time in his career.

Chrissy Zaika, Meghan Binder and Alice Garnett all earn first team honors for their excellent swims that helped the Raiders’ women’s squad finish second for the first time ever.  Garnett has been named all-league in each of her four seasons, while Binder and Zaika were both all-league choices in 2003 as well.

Divers Jen Busby and Emily McAuliff both made second team all-league.  Busby finished second in the three-meter dive and earns her first all-league honor.  McAuliff was named all-league after scoring 31 points in her diving events.

In addition to the all-league picks, Head Coach Stephen Jungbluth was named women’s coach of the year for mentoring the team to a second place finish.
