ECAC Announces JPMorgan Chase Women’s Hockey All-Academic performers

Cape Cod, Mass. – Seven members of the Colgate women’s ice hockey squad have been named to the ECAC JPMorgan Chase All-Academic Team.

Players are eligible for the squad if they have completed one academic year, have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, and have competed in at least one-half of her team’s games during the current season.

Senior captain Avery McGlenn, senior assistant captain Caitlin Hornyak, juniors Cheryl Setchell, Kristy MacDonald, assistant captain Chelsey Rhodes, Maura Kehoe and sophomore Brittney Briggs were the Raider’s representatives on the squad that featured 63 student-athletes.

Hornyak, Kehoe, MacDonald and Setchell are making their second appearances on the all-academic team while McGlenn, Briggs and Rhodes are first time honorees.
