BETHLEHEM, PA ‘ Colgate University’s freshman Kendall Chones has been named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week in men’s basketball. The 6-foot-7 forward, who has started the last four games, averaged 14.5 points and 8.5 rebounds for the Raiders last week.
Chones tallied a season-best 19 points and added six boards in Friday’s game at Bucknell, then recorded his first career double-double with 10 points and a game-high 11 caroms at Lehigh. In his four starts, Chones has averaged 15.3 points and 6.8 rebounds for Colgate.
