Hamilton, NY — Senior forward and captain Kate Barrett was named to the first team all-Northeast region by the NSCAA/Adidas. The honor for Barrett comes after being named Patriot League offensive player of the year for leading the league in goals with 18 and points with 45. It marks the first time a Colgate player has earned first team all-region laurels since Jen Hughes in 1996.
Barrett is joined on the first team by two Connecticut Huskies who participated in the NCAA Division I championship game, forwards Kristin Graczyk and Jessica Gjertsen.
Barrett finished her career fifth in goals with 36, third in assists with 24, and third in points with 97. She also set Colgate season marks in goals with 18 and points with 45.
