Hamilton, NY — Turner Battle scored 18 points to lead four Buffalo players in double figures, while sparking the Bulls to a 72-49 win over Colgate Tuesday night at Cotterell Court.The Bulls (3-3) have won three straight games, while Colgate falls to 3-3.
Yassin Adbihi tallied 14, while Calvin Cage and Mark Bortz contributed 13 and 11 respectively for Buffalo.
Buffalo shot 50 percent from the field for the game, including a blistering 56 percent in the second half, while Colgate struggled from the field shooting only 36 percent for the game.
Howard Blue paced Colgate with 20 points.
Colgate led 8-4 in the first half, before Buffalo went on a 15-2 run to open a nine point advantage, 19-10, with left.The Bulls extended their lead to 15 points at halftime, 37-22.
Colgate scored the first two baskets of the second half, before Buffalo took control of the game with an 11-3 run with Battle scoring nine points for the Bulls.
Buffalo dominated the boards out-rebounding the Raiders 39-22 led by Dan Gilbert with seven and Bortz with six.
