Men’s Hockey Signs Its First Player To National Letter of Intent

HAMILTON, N.Y.Colgate University’s interim men’s ice hockey coach Stan Moore has announced that Tyler Burton of Langley, British Columbia has signed a National Letter of Intent. Burton is the first scholarship athlete to sign with the Raiders.

Burton, a 5-9 center, currently plays for the Chilliwack Chiefs of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League. Burton will be the second Chilliwack player to attend Colgate since Jason Craig ’95.

Burton currently leads the BCHL in scoring with 12 goals and 33 assists through 23 games. He also has two power play goals and two short handed goals on the season.
