CAPE COD, Mass. – Junior goalie Rebecca Lahar (Vienna, Va.) was named women’s hockey Goaltender of the Week by the ECAC for her 53 save weekend performance over the Bobcats of Quinnipiac.  It is Lahar’s first honor of the season after garnering recognition five times last season for the honor.

Lahar is 4-0 in net this season, and has helped the Raiders get out to their best start in team history.  She currently has a .942 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average, while making 98 saves in four contests.

The Raiders look to continue their unbeaten streak with a weekend trip to Maine.  The games begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 25.  In 2002-03 the Black Bears defeated Colgate 3-1, and 5-0 in Orono, Maine.
