HAMILTON, N.Y.The Colgate University men’s and women’s ice hockey teams will host the annual skate with the Raiders on Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 7-8 p.m. at Starr Rink.
The event is free to the public as fans will have a chance to skate with their favorite hockey player. Autographs, refreshments, posters and raffle prizes will also be available.
The men’s team, coming off a 3-3 tie at Northeastern, hosts eighth-ranked Ferris State in their home opener on Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18. Both games are slated for 7 p.m.
The women’s team, coming off a weekend sweep of Findlay, is on the road at Quinnipiac and Maine the next two weekends. Their next home game is on Friday, Oct. 31 against Wayne State at 7 p.m.
