CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Junior Jen Busby (Andover, Ma.) earned Patriot League Women’s Diver of the Week honors after garnering two first place finishes against Syracuse. Busby won both the one-meter and three-meter dives in Colgate’s 128-111 loss to the Orangemen.
Busby beat teammate Emily McAuliff (Springfield, Ill.) by two points in the one-meter dive with a score of 247.88 She followed that up with score of 141.90 in the three-meter dive. Busby defeated McAuliff by just 0.6 points in the three-meter event. Busby’s two victories were half of the four wins Colgate earned against Syracuse.
The Raiders swimming and diving teams open up Patriot League competition Saturday, October 25, when the Crusaders of Holy Cross come to Lineberry Natatorium.
