CENTER VALLEY, Pa.— Freshman goalkeeper Jacque DeMarco (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) of the Colgate University field hockey team was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week Monday.
DeMarco earned her second league honor after helping the Raiders pick up two non-league wins against Columbia and St. Francis. She opened the week with a three-save performance against the Lions and followed it up with her third collegiate shutout against the Red Flash.
She finished the week with a .857 save percentage and a 0.55 goals against average.
The Raiders are back in action on Friday, Oct. 10 with a 10 a.m. game at Sacred Heart.
