CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Colgate University men’s soccer team was selected to finish sixth by the coaches and sports information directors of the Patriot League. American was selected first for the second-straight year followed by Holy Cross, Lehigh, Bucknell and Lafayette. Army and Navy finished tied for seventh, just below Colgate.
The Raiders, who began preseason practice Saturday, August 16, return 10 starters from last year’s team. Their season begins August 29, when they travel to UMBC to battle the Retrievers at 4 p.m. Colgate’s Patriot League campaign gets underway at Lafayette on September 27.
