Hamilton, NY — Colgate University’s senior shortstop Melissa Rawson (Palmdale, CA/Highland HS) currently has the second highest batting average in the nation according to the latest NCAA statistics. She is averaging .509 for the Raiders through 37 games.
Rawson is also tied for third in home runs with 0.38 per game (14 in 37 games) and tied for 14th in runs batted in with 1.00 per game (37 in 37 games).
