Her record-breaking home run came in the second game of a doubleheader against Bucknell on Sunday ‘ Rawson also moved into a tie for third place in career triples with 8 ‘ in seven games last week, Rawson hit .667 (16-of-24) with three doubles, one triple and two home runs ‘ her slugging percentage was 1.125 ‘ Rawson has hit in 13 straight games and leads the team in multiple-hit games with 12.
Senior second baseman Amanda Brickell (Leawood, KS) was injured in the second Lehigh game last Thursday. She bruised her ankle and is out indefinitely.
Junior pitcher Elena Isaac (Chandler, Ariz.) has moved into fourth place in career wins with 35 ‘ she was 2-1 last week with a pair of victories over Bucknell ‘ she has won six straight against the Bison.
Freshman Kate Howard (Wheaton, Ill) had her second career shutout in Colgate’s 5-0 win over Lehigh ‘ in that game she equaled her career high for strikeouts with nine ‘ that win snapped Lehigh’s nine-game winning streak ‘ Howard has a team-high 54 strikeouts.
Junior catcher Stacy Mui (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) had a pair of game-winning hits against Bucknell ‘ she leads the team in that category with four ‘ Mui is hitting a career-high .277 with six RBI.
Junior infielder/outfielder Rachel Smith (Annadale, VA) has moved into 16th place in career hits with 96 and 20th place in career RBI with 42 ‘ Smith is also T-11th in career doubles (16) and 17th in career total bases (120) ‘ she raised her batting average 11 points last weekend.
Freshman third baseman Kim Olmstead (Spring Hill, Fla) had a solid week hitting .363 (7-for-13) with four runs scored, three RBI and one double ‘ she moved into the leadoff spot in the lineup for the Bucknell series
Sophomore first baseman Natalie Rawson (Palmdale, Calif.) was 8-for-23 (.348) for the week with a team-high 10 RBI ‘ she had four doubles and two home runs ‘ both of her home runs came in the 5-0 win over Lehigh driving in all five runs ‘ it was the third time in her career she has hit two home runs in a game.
