Colgate announces the new appointment of current administrator

Hamilton, NY — Colgate is pleased to announce the appointment of Secretary of the College.

Kim Waldron, a member of the Colgate Class of 1981, received her Ph.D. from Yale University in 1986. After working several years abroad, Waldron returned to Colgate in 1992 as a member of the Colgate geology faculty and later joined the dean of the college staff. More recently she has served as staff to the Task Force on Campus Culture as well as to the Strategic Planning Steering Group. Waldron has served for the last year as the Interim Secretary of the College. She has accepted President Rebecca S. Chopp’s invitation to begin officially in that position immediately.

Waldron will report to President Chopp and serve as a member of her senior staff, working closely with the Board of Trustees.
