Hamilton, NY — The Colgate University men’s soccer team jumped from 8th to 6th in the recent NSCAA New York region poll.  The Raiders vaulted up two positions after knocking off Saint Bonaventure 1-0 in the first overtime Saturday night.

Saint Bonaventure entered the contest ranked first in New York State and 12th nationally according to the NSCAA.  The Bonnies have now slipped to 4th in New York State.  St. John’s University now has taken over the number one spot in New York.

Colgate faces intrastate rival Syracuse, Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Van Doren Field.  Syracuse enters the contest ranked 8th in New York State.
