Charismatic pianist Alpin Hong to perform September 30

Hamilton, NY — Alpin Hong, the first pianist in eight years to win the Concert Artists Guild International Competition, will perform on Sunday, September 30 at 3:30 p.m. in Colgate Memorial Chapel. The program will feature works of Shostakovich, Haydn, Brahms, Ravel, Liszt, and Prokofiev. The concert is free and open to the public. Hong’s charismatic performance at the CAG International Competition won him standing ovations and the jury’s unanimous vote. ‘Alpin Hong went over the top, down the other side, and all the way over the top again!’ reads a recent New York Times review.
