VIVIEN HARVEY SLATER AND WESLEY BALDWIN TO GIVE RECITAL
AT COLGATE UNIVERSITY

Hamilton, NY — Pianist Vivien Harvey Slater and cellist Wesley Baldwin will perform a program titled ‘Singles and Doubles’ on Sunday, December 3. The concert is free and open to the public and will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Colgate Memorial Chapel. A reception will follow. Slater is Colgate’s longtime pianist-in-residence and Baldwin is on the faculty at the University of Tennessee. The concert will feature two major pieces by Czech composer Leos Janacek, his Solo Sonata for piano and A Tale for piano and cello. Also to be performed will be works of Rachmaninoff, Schubert, and Popper.
